A few days ago, the voting phase has started, giving you the possibility to select the projects you prefer. As we mentioned before, our voting phase will provide best-in-class projects and will maximize their success. It will be followed by a tallying phase.
A quick reminder
In order to be selected, a project has to get at least 10% of the number of voters and 10% of the total number of voting tickets. We are super proud to provide decentralized governance to our community and give them the possibility to choose which projects deserve to be supported. We do believe that citizen involvement is required to maximize the common welfare.
However, this method of calculation could lead to more than 2 projects being selected. If this happens, we would need some time to re-adjust and refine the selection to two projects only.
Our tallying phase
At the end of the voting phase, we have 2 possibilities:
- We do not have enough projects to support. The thresholds have not been reached during the voting process
- On the contrary, if too many projects have reached the threshold and are likely to participate in the IDOs, Cardashift won’t be able to guarantee a best-in-class mentorship
To deal with these issues, a tallying phase will be performed by the Cardashift team to:
- Discuss with the impact leaders and confirm their willingness to continue
- Analyze even more the impact and the business sustainability to adapt the further IDOs
