Cardashift’s team is thrilled to announce the appointment of Joshua Akpan as Ambassador of Cardashift.
Joshua is the co-founder of Proof of Africa, a mission-driven Cardano skate-pool. The purpose is to get Africans onboard on the web3 movement and drive the adoption towards Cardano. As part of this ambition, he launched the African Blockchain for Development, aiming to breed highly skilled blockchain engineers in Africa.
Besides, Joshua is also the co-founder of Liqwid Finance, an open-source, algorithmic and non-custodial interest rate protocol built for lenders, borrowers and developers.
Joshua has been part of the Cardano ecosystem for four years. He was, at first, fascinated by the technological potential of blockchain. The focus on Africa vehiculated by the Cardano community has resonated particularly in him. His main driver is to develop impact projects on Cardano that have the potential to change the quality of life for people, notably in Africa.
